Clinical Study of an Investigational Obesity Drug and Its Heart Safety

AMR Norman is conducting a study to test an investigational drug on cardiovascular safety for people who are overweight or obese.

Qualified participants must:

  • be ages 18 and older
  • have a BMI of 27 or greater
  • have cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, or at least two risk factors for cardiovascular disease such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, Type 2 Diabetes, or Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH)
  • meet other study criteria

Qualified participants will receive at no cost:

  • all study-related care
  • the investigational medication or placebo
